Drive-By Truckers are a Southern rock band based in Athens, Georgia, and Northern Alabama. Their gritty, gothic sound is influenced by classic Southern rock of Lynyrd Skynyrd, British rock of The Faces and American soul like Tom Petty. The band’s newest CD is Brighter Than Creation’s Dark, which received four stars from Rolling Stone and Paste magazines.
