Cold War Kids is a 4-piece band from Long Beach that began in August ’04 as a union between friends, jangly guitar, hand claps, and a Harmony amp in a storage room atop Mulberry Street restaurant in downtown Fullerton, CA. Springing to international attention with their critically acclaimed debut Robbers & Cowards followed by an equally impressive and lushly textured second album Loyalty to Loyalty, Cold War Kids are famed for their poignant, intimate narratives and brooding atmospherics. They have toured in support of Two Gallants, Tapes ‘n Tapes, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Sound Team, Muse, and The White Stripes across the globe.
