Bonnaroo is one week away! I still have to locate my tent and decide if I'm going to try to set up the screen house at my campsite. It's 20-plus years old and made with metal poles. It might be a pain to set up by myself, but I'd LOVE to have something that shades my tent. It's amazing how hot blue nylon can get in the Middle Tennessee sun. I did buy a new hat at Mast!
Are you going by yourself this year?
I just made the leap and bought a new tent, and it is incredibly cool (and big!). It actually has electrical outlets and you can hook up a battery pack so that you can run lights, fans, cell phone chargers, laptops, etc off of it. I also decided to get all luxurious this year, so I bought a really nice air mattress, sheets and a comforter, linen spray, etc. (Yes, I am high maintenance, why do you ask?) You may make fun of me now, but I will be comfy!
Don't forget your rubbers.
Rubber boots that is. Only been once but the rains turned the farm into a huge mud puddle. Our high top boots turned out to be our wisest addition. Plus, we could go stand right up front in huge puddles that others had to stay out of. That was a few years ago now. Things have probably changed.
i am bummed that i am missing bonnaroo this year, but i am getting pretty excited for City Stages in Bham.
Sounds like it was a blast! I am TOTALLY going next year...hopefully CS will be a different time next year :)
