Any word on any stellar New Years Eve shows happening here in Knoxville? It doesn't look like I'll be able to make the MMJ show in NYC or Umphrey's in Chicago, but PGroove in the ATL looks like a possibility. Now I'm just looking for a reason to stay home. Got anything coming up?
December's edition of Tennessee Shines is on New Year's Eve at the Bijou! The line-up hasn't been confirmed yet, but it's gonna be good! Plus, it'll be an early show and you can bar-hop or hit something else downtown afterward.
The Dirty Guv'nahs are playing Barley's for new years eve. I will probably hit Tennessee Shines and then head down there.
PGroove is in Athens for NYE (30th & 31st) and thats where I'll be.
As far as Knoxville goes... Dubconscious is in the running to play NYE @ Grotto. Def the best thing this town would have going on for the evening.
The superbly raucous Hackensaw Boys will be at Tennessee Shines, which runs from 7-9:30 or so, and then they'll play the Preservation Pub later. So, depending on your plans, you can either see them twice, early or late.
