The Bijou theatre is celebrating it's 100th anniversary this month. To honor the occasion they are having a festival called The Bijou 100th Jubilee!
It is kicking off next Wednesday at 5:30, when they are installing a new blade and marquee to the front of the theatre. Immediately following the lighting ceremony and Birthday cake, the entertainment begins with Tennessee Shines. On Thursday Grupo Fantasma, Friday - Comedian Henry Cho, and on Saturday the Dave Barnes band. There is much more to do at the Jubilee than just the headliners, including an art auction, klezmer music with Tennessee Schmaltz, vaudeville with The Boozehound Gandy Dance, a poetry slam, a showing of the Hitchcock classic, Psycho, a ghost tour, Marshal Andy's kids club Round-up and 10 free events!
