General Discussion: WP / ABB Venue Change



I am none too happy with the venue change to the Civic Coliseum. The "weather" reason for moving from the World's Fair Site is weak. The tickets all say rain or shine. The forecast calls for Tuesday to be sunny with a high of 75 and a low that night of 56. That is a great night for a concert to be outside. I have been looking forward to this show at the WFS for months and to now change it and move it indoors to a horrible venue is wrong. There is still time to move it back. Please do so!!





My sources tell me that there is a water drainage problem on the world's fair park site and that it is so muddy and watery that there is absolutely no way they could have had the show there.
I went down last night to see it with my own eyes..... and sure enough there is still standing water throughout the field. It would be a serious hazard to have the show there with all of the electrical stuff and the weight of the giant stage.

Not to mention it is supposed to rain this weekend and just add to the mess.
