General Discussion: Raising Sand--new Plant Krauss collabo



Have any of you listened to this CD? I need to give it a few more spins, but I've already found that the songs really get stuck in my head. Alison Krauss' voice has always done that, and there's something particularly haunting about these tracks. i haven't heard it yet, but i've heard the single a few times on the radio and i always end up thinking, 'i love this, what is it again?' i'm just going to have to suck it up and take my savings to disc exchange and buy it.





They picked a crazy mix of songs!





Yeah, they play the heck out of it on WDVX. I think it's a full-fledged hit!





i like the single, but i haven't heard the rest of the album, yet.
it sounds so timeless. their voices blend surprisingly well together.

i just got it last week, and i have to say i'm totally impressed.





the show lastnight in knoxville was incredible!
