General Discussion: The Disco Biscuits...Asheville...April 20th...

This is definitely gonna be mind blowing! Spending the holiday in one of the headiest towns in the southeast! A show of epic proportions to end a little southeast run, yeah!!!

Thanks MCP Inc. (Meatcamp Productions) for helping w/ "The Three Hour Tour", and keeping the cities close enough that it's no sweat hitting all 5 shows!

Now the only problem will be remembering what the hell happened for that week whenever & wherever I wake up, sometime on the 22nd I'm sure!! PEACE!!

Careful out there, Morph! Sounds like you've got some good times ahead. And remember, April 22nd is Earth Day, another green holiday worth celebrating.

lol @ holiday....
the show should be fantastic if you like that sorta thing.

i'm torn. feist is that same night. two completely different shows, but i've already seen the disco biscuits twice...and i reallllllly want to catch feist again. she was so good at bonnaroo last year.

never listened to these chaps--can anyone advise a track to scope out?

They do a bangin' cover of "Pygmy Twylyte" that any Zappa fan will appreciate. That's a good place to start. I've also really been liking a song called "Therapy." It's fairly radio friendly I'd say and serves as a good introduction to the Disco Biscuits.

Was any at the three night Leap year affiar in Seyerville over the weekend? If not you missed perhaps one of the best concerts you'll ever see. Well...that might be a little overstated, but for a full review check out:

They do cover "Pygmy Twylyte" very well, all their covers are nice, they're diverse.

Wish I would've caught those shows but I wasn't gonna miss moe. @ the TN Theatre. It's a small price to pay but there's always next time, and I got plenty of time to prepare for it!
