As of two days ago, I'm completely obsessed with Tyler Ramsey and his solo CD, A Long Dream about Swimming Across the Sea." Check it out:

I am loving that new Black Keys album. Plus Levon Helm's "Dirt Farmer"

Been listening to a lot of Chris Knight lately.

Recently discovered James Morrison (yes, a little late... but still...)... LOVING IT! And just got the new Jason Mraz... swoooon!

"The Knife" rules.
Apollo 440 is on stand by.

HUGE fan of Corrine Bailey, Lupe Fiasco, and Ayo (she's fantastic! highly recommend it!)

have y'all heard that new RZA cut off the Bobby Digital sessions....it is off the chain!

The Macpodz, these guys are mind blowing!! Just saw em for the 2nd time at SummerCamp this weekend and they brought the heat!!
Also Cornmeal is a great bluegrass band people need to check out!
Both are from the midwest, which is overflowing w/ talented musicians. MIDWESTpeeps know what's up!

Black Mountain - Into the Future. Played a gig at the Pilot Light in March and just won best band award in Canada for their awards show. Blank News did a review of the show pretty cool.

Paige... I think the new Coldplay is amazing. And what about Adele - I can't stop listening to that either. Can we get David Byrne & Eno to come to Knoxville? Nina

Parachute Musical's new album 'Everything is Working out Fine in Some Town'

They are from Nashville & this album is simply brilliant.

Listen to them here: www.myspace.com/parachutemusical

They will be in town Nov 2nd @ 4620

The new radiohead album-in rainbows, and Ryan Jay, an up and coming artist from Orlando...reminds me a bit of paul simon or john mayer.

I agree, I met and interviewed the guys from Parachute musical. It's like a Cold War Kids meets Ben Folds or something w/the piano driven rock, very orginal band. They just played the Grotto a few weeks back and in April this past spring as well.
