Re-posting a recent (July 1) Song of the Day selection from NPR's All Songs Considered. Partly because the subject, Jay Reatard, happens to be playing the Orange Peel next Tuesday, July 7 - and partly because its a really great tune, particularly if you're inclined toward tunes that make you feel as if you've just consumed a month's worth of caffeine in a single frenetic, slightly messy injection. Part Sex Pistols meeting the Stooges meeting Black Flag, with a little less nihilism and a bit more enthusiasm in this one. In the end, it's music that makes you sweat and there's nothing wrong with that.
